While basking in the Christmas cheer
And celebrating with family and friends
With lights, music and priceless gifts
Let our minds stay especially focused
On the true meaning of this joyful season
That Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior
Was born on Christmas Day
So let’s remember in humble fashion
Christ’s precious gifts to us on earth
All engraved in His special message
Of love, forgiveness, humility and peace
And be ever mindful of the sacred truth
That Holy night so long ago
God filled the earth with peace and love
