- As a native of Jamaica, West Indies, since 2005, I have been residing in Florida, with previous residences in Canada and New York. Now a retiree, my retirement is spent writing short stories and inspirational verses [which I intend to publish], and volunteering two days per week in the office of a Florida State Representative; also a very active member in my church. I am the proud mother of one son, who has blessed me with a wonderful daughter-in-law and two delightful grandchildren. This Blogging venture I have embarked on has me very excited.
